Biomaterials

Through a materials driven design approach, I design and experiment with natural bio-based materials, inks and pigments. I conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand material properties to lead to design solutions.

Sustainability and Material Health

I research sustainable materials through scientific journals and hands on research. I research relevant certifications and communicate through sustainability strategy consulting, materials sourcing, writing, data mapping and visualization. I am currently a Material Health researcher at Parsons Healthy Materials Lab with a goal to replace petrochemicals with safer non-toxic alternatives to benefit human health.

Color and Trend

I perform color and trend forecasting with an eco-conscious lens to shift the industry towards sustainable solutions. Through color specifications, material sourcing, and healthier finishes, I use CMF to inspire the senses within product development.
